HRBP (Recruiting)

HYBRID Schedule

The HR Business Partner is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with the VP of Human Resources in supporting designated geographic regions. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: onboarding, policy implementation, immigration processes, recruitment/employment, and employment law compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.
• Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students and temporary employees; and writes and places advertisements.
• Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
• Completes and returns requests for verification of employment.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or related field a plus.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years’ experience in related areas such as job classification and compensation, Recruiting, Immigration processes, Employee Relations.
• Travel can be 10-20% of the time.

Required SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS (ADP), payroll, and similar human resources management software and practices.
