What You’ll Do: As a Senior Network Cyber Engineer with expertise in Networking, the role will be responsible for implementing highly scalable solutions on the Microsoft Azure Public Cloud and On-Premises environment. The Senior Network Cyber Engineer will design, implement, and maintain our organization's network architecture to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.

What You’ll Do: As a Senior Network Cyber Engineer with expertise in Networking, the role will be responsible for implementing highly scalable solutions on the Microsoft Azure Public Cloud and On-Premises environment. The Senior Network Cyber Engineer will design, implement, and maintain our organization's network architecture to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.
Job Duties:
- Oversee the planning and execution of network projects.
- Provide technical leadership to the team and collaborate with cross-functional departments to meet business objectives.
- Design, implement, and manage complex network solutions to support business operations.
- Safeguard the organization’s computer systems and networks from security breaches, cyber threats, and vulnerabilities.
- Lead network architecture planning, including hardware and software upgrades.
- Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting network issues and implementing solutions.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure network security measures are in place.
- Conduct regular network performance monitoring and optimization.
- Mentor and train junior network engineers to enhance team capabilities.
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for network improvements.
- Develop and maintain network documentation for reference and compliance purposes.
- Conduct network security assessments and recommend remediation actions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance and integrity.
- Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer or similar role in a large-scale environment.
- Experienced in all areas of network engineering.
- Preferred 4 years of network architecture design and/or solution engineering.
- 2 years of network design or administration involving cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.).
- 2 years of scripting or coding experience with one or more languages (Python preferred).
- Preferred Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNP, CISM, CISA, CEH).
- Extensive experience with Fortinet Firewalls, Firewall Analysis, VPN, Cloud Security (Azure), VPN Security, Security Compliance, SAML, Radius, Cisco Routers/Switches/ASA Firewalls, and F5 Load Balancing.
- Experience in the planning, design, deployment, and support of LAN/WAN/IP architectures.
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and software solutions, including TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, LAN Switching Technologies, and Next-Gen Firewalls.
- Experience in traditional route/switch, wireless technologies, VPN, SSL, DNS, DHCP, and ISE.
- Hands-on experience with network security.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead projects and teams effectively.
- Experience utilizing public cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Experience with industry network tools: monitoring (Splunk, NetScout, Zabbix), management (Prime, ISE, Aruba Central), inventory management (Netbox, IPAM), and DNS solutions.
- Experience with multiple hardware/software platforms such as Cisco, Fortinet, F5, NetScout, Nutanix, VMWare, and Acropolis Hypervisors.
- Strong teamwork skills, ability to learn quickly, excellent written and spoken communication.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies.
- Automate tasks and assess their effectiveness.
- Must be able to pass post offer drug test .
- $150,000-$160,000 salary depending on skills and qualifications
- Remote Position (Ideally located in California)
