Role: Qliksense Data Visualization Analyst

Location: NYC - Midtown (Hybrid with 40% Remote & 60% Onsite)

Contract: 12 months (CTH)

Position Description:

A leading bank in New York is seeking a talented and creative QlikSense Data Visualization Analyst to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining insightful and user-friendly dashboards and reports using QlikSense. You will partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable data visualizations. You will work with IT engineers to understand and model data into effective Qlik metadata models.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders in an Agile environment to gather data requirements, document business requirements, mock up user stories and build clear, concise visualizations using QlikSense.

Work with IT to identify data assets and turn them into effective Qlik data models to optimize dashboards and reports.

Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that effectively communicate key insights and trends.

Apply best practices for data visualization design principles to create visually appealing and informative reports.

Document and maintain Data Visualization Report, Dashboards and Scripts.

Utilize Qlik NPrinting to effectively distribute reports throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

5 years of experience in data analysis and/or computer science or related field.

2 years of experience working with QlikSense and NPrinting to create and distribute reports and dashboards.

Excellent communication skills and confident personality.

Experience working with business end users to elicit analytic requirements and deliver solutions through prototyping and Agile processes.

Aptitude for identifying and understanding new data assets and completing tasks on time.

Ability to interpret business requirements and communicate recommendations.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in information science, data management, computer science or related field
