Position Title: External Operations Manager (RVO)

Job Description:

Vend Tech International is seeking an experienced and dynamic External Operations Manager to join our team. Based out of Savanna, GA with possible occasional travel to other RVO (Retail Vending Operation) locations, the External Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing our entire external operations department.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service Management:

• Lead and supervise the customer service department, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of customer inquiries, complaints, and requests.
• Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Monitor customer feedback and implement strategies to address areas for improvement.

Account Management:

• Manage and provide leadership to all account managers responsible for filling vending machines, micro markets, and delivering products to customers.
• Oversee account management processes, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer relationship management.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and training to account managers to improve productivity and efficiency.

Logistics and Route Planning:

• Coordinate logistics and route planning to optimize delivery schedules and ensure timely product replenishment.
• Develop and implement efficient routing strategies to minimize delivery times and reduce transportation costs.
• Monitor vehicle fleets and driver performance to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Repairs and Maintenance Management:

• Supervise repairs and maintenance staff to ensure vending machines, micro markets, and related equipment are properly maintained and serviced.

• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and oversee implementation to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
• Coordinate with external service providers for specialized repairs and technical support when needed.

Fleet Management:

• Manage all fleet management activities for RVO vehicles, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for vehicle use, maintenance, and safety.
• Monitor fuel usage, vehicle inspections, and driver compliance to optimize fleet efficiency and reduce operating costs.

Operational Efficiency and Continuous Improvement:

• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve operational targets.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings through automation, technology adoption, and streamlined workflows.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the vending or food service industry.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Solid understanding of logistics, route planning, and fleet management principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
