• Understand the rules, requirements, code of conduct and standards of the AICPA, and the authoritative literature established by the FASB, GASB, and the PCAOB • Prior experience in CPA firm is preferred. • Obtain a working knowledge of accounting and tax research techniques and various research sources • Proficient in the use of QuickBooks (QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop) and able to develop and train. • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products • Perform accounting and related services or support based on client needs • Some proficiency in the preparation of financial statements • in the preparation of corporate, individual, partnership, fiduciary and other tax returns prepared by the firm • Analysis of data collected from research and provided by clients • Assist firm staff with engagement assignments when requested • Assist with the preparation of financial and consulting reports • Work will be performed at the firm’s office or on the client’s premises • Other tasks as required Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor degree in Accounting (Finance majors may be considered) • Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting experience • Above average proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Good research and analytical skills • Reliable transportation
