Venteon Finance is hiring a CONSTRUCTION DRAW COORDINATOR to provide support in the Bingham Farms, MI area. You will assist a busy commercial construction company in performing accounting activities and managing the construction loan draw process.

POSITION TYPE: Full time. Direct Hire. In office. Immediate work.

PAY: $55,000 - $65,000 annual (depending on education and experience) plus benefits package

Requirements of the Construction Draw Coordinator:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance desired. Not required. High level of US GAAP knowledge required.

• Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in Accounting in the Real Estate /Construction industry required.

• Must possess specific experience in the Construction loan draw process including reviews of subcontractor invoices and supporting documentation and handling disbursement of funds.

• Experience with accounts payable processing and preparation of lien waivers.

• Yardi Software skills a major plus. QuickBooks skills desirable.

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

• Excellent communication, people, written and presentation skills.

Duties of the Construction Draw Coordinator:

• Prepare monthly loan draw requests for multiple retail developments and office build outs.

• Prepare loan draw and sworn statements for current jobs. Approve contractor and sub-contractor invoices for payment by reviewing accuracy of charges, sworn waivers, permits, inspections, and compare to budget line items to ensure the project is on track. Work to retrieve any missing paperwork needed to process the draw per lender guidelines.

• Work with lenders to resolve any outstanding issues.

• Process payments to subcontractors as funding arrives. Update project budget.

• Notify subcontractors when payments are ready to be picked up/mailed.

• Prepare sworn statement in excel which lines up with the draws.

• Process reports and provide status of projects as requested.

• Reconcile expense reports and company credit card statements.

• Assist Vendors/Subcontractors with any outstanding issues.
