Job Title: Network Data and Security Architect

Relevant Experience (in Yrs): 10 years

Technical/Functional Skills

Extensive experience in Palo Alto Firewall

Should have in-depth experience in design and manage security policies for enterprise level.

Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching with Cisco products (Actual physical experience in large datacenters for all Network devices/equipment will be preferred)

Expert in NetScaler Load balancer with ability to handle tickets escalated to L3 level and recommend best practices.

Experience on Azure environment in terms of all cloud network products and connectivity from on-prem to cloud environment.

As an expert he should be able to recommend best practices and solutions for Network Security, Load Balancer or routing and switching.

Should have experience in creating network designs, HLD, LLD etc.

Should have good communication skills and able to demonstrate technical skills.

Engineering degree in Computer science or equivalent.

Roles & Responsibilities

Resolving escalated tickets at L3 level in all network areas like Firewall, Load Balancer, Routing and Switching and Load Balancers

Participate in requirement gathering and providing solutions as per best practices and industry standards.

Apart from L3 ticket resolution he should be working on network infrastructure projects like upgrades and transition and replacements.

Recommend best network security policies.

Work with different OEM vendors to identify the best products and solutions.

Vulnerability assessment and remediation for network security infrastructure.

Analyse network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and recommend solutions

Incident/Problem/Change/Service Request/Configuration Management

Define/Document network policies and procedures and perform implementation.

Generic Managerial Skills

Good communication and articulation skills

Should have experience in creating network designs, HLD, LLD etc.

Should have good communication skills and able to demonstrate technical skills.
