Job DescriptionVeracity Resourcing & Services is looking for Nurses(LPN/RN) to join our team. The LPN/RN helps to fulfill the care requirements of our patients. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the successful candidate will work within their entire scope of practice. The LPN/RN will be fully accountable for ensuring that the utmost in competent care and safety is consistently delivered to all residents. This opportunity awaits a motivated and ambitious professional with experience.
LPN Responsibilities:
Salary: RN- $43.00 /hour & LPN- $ 34/hr. License: LPN (Required) / Registered Nurse License in the state EOE/M/F/D/V Language:English (Required)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract
LPN Responsibilities:
- Provide bedside care
- Administer medications and document therapeutic effects
- Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas
- Collect samples and monitor catheters
- Provide wound care
- Help coach staff as necessary
- Ensure the nurses' notes reflect the care plan is being followed when administering nursing care of treatment
- Administer professional services such as catheterizations, tube feedings, suctioning, dressing changes, vital signs, etc.
- Able to pass Background and Drug Test
- Up to date first aid and CPR certification
- Up to date Physical and TB test
- Prepares patients for providers by performing assessments and completing appropriate documentation
- Identifies chronic conditions and preventive health maintenance issues to be addressed during office visit.
- Efficiently manages process issues and office flow.
- Provides patient education to improve medication compliance and management of chronic disease to improve health literacy.
- Advocates for patients to reduce barriers to care within and outside of the facility, connecting them to care where needed.
- Provides leadership to the clinical team and uses critical thinking to problem solve day to day issues in the clinic.
- Provides oversight to the care of the patient and the flow or appointments in the clinic site
- Gather resident information and data to be utilized by the RN in comprehensive assessments, MDS , and RAPS
- Admit, transfer, and discharge residents according to established procedures
- Request and arrange for diagnostic and therapeutic services, as ordered by the physician, and in accordance with established procedures
- Excellent communication skills and able to work in a team environment
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends
- Exceptional staff training and customer service skills
- Compassionate and friendly demeanor
- Competent to independently perform safe nursing skills and procedures
- Able to critically think and problem solve in routine and emergency situations
- Experience supervising direct support staff
