Verge Mobile, LLC seeks an Information Technology Manager (Houston, TX).

Responsibilities

• Manages team of 3 Software Developers in our Technology dept. by training & coaching employees, communicating job expectations, & establishing priorities to develop, improve the IT systems & automation processes used internally by our sales & accounting depts. and staff at our stores to collect data generated from sales of mobile phones plans, equipment, & accessories.
• Develop, test, deploy customizations, custom objects, User Events, Client, Map Reduce, Suitelet, Restlets and Workflows, NetSuite SW functionality based on evolving business needs, analyzing workflows, developing standards, setting deadlines.
• Establish efficiency & efficacy standards, providing recommendations for improvements to IT infrastructure & protocols used for transferring info within multiple applications.
• Maintain Data Warehouse functionality, upgrades, customization, & integration. Evaluate data processing proposals to assess project feasibility & requirements. Oversee security of systems, networks, & enterprise info.
• Evaluate co.’s technology use and needs & recommend improvements, such as hardware & software upgrades.
• Analyze IT infrastructure & systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics & needs.
• Use Javascript for customizing NetSuite ERP system & Python for automation of processes. Develop, implement, & evaluate IT projects in line with organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Comp. Sci., Info. Technology or a related field.
• 3 yrs. exp. as an IT professional using NetSuite that includes 1 yr. development exp. with Python & JavaScript.
