Job Title: Cable Technician
Job Length: Contract to Hire
Job Location: Atlanta/Fayetteville, GA
Start Date: ASAP (Once Approved)
Pay: W2 Format - Direct Deposit or Check weekly every Friday
Pay Rate: Open pending experience/qualifications
Job Description:
· Pull, terminate, test, and label data cabling (fiber optic experience is a plus)
· Follow the Lead Technician’s directions
· Terminate data jacks and patch panels
· Install cable racks, j-hooks, inner duct, and other related structures
· Install ladder racks, networking equipment, and telephone equipment
· Perform testing and troubleshooting of equipment and cabling
· Ensure job site is clean at the end of shift
· Work in a quick and efficient manner
· Follow safety and security procedures
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Prior experience pulling, terminating and testing data cabling
· Hand tools and PPE required
Upon meeting eligibility criteria, Verigent offers the following benefits:
