Salary : $72,000 - $82,000 (Based on experience/qualifications)

Job Description:

As a Low Voltage Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the installation and maintenance of low voltage systems, including security and networking projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of low voltage, security, and networking projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
• Maintain detailed and accurate project documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, inspect the quality of work, and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Collaborate with technicians, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient project execution.
• Identify and resolve any project-related issues or obstacles that may arise.
• Conduct and participate in project meetings, providing updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, specifically within the low voltage, security, or networking industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• PMP, BICSI, RCDD or similar certifications are highly desirable.

Skills:

• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Strong technical knowledge of low voltage, security, and networking systems.
• Ability to work effectively both at a desk for administrative tasks and on-site for project supervision.

Essential Functions of the job:

• Lifting, carrying, adjusting, moving and/or transporting of objects up to 50 pounds
• Walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, maintaining balance and/or crawling for extended periods
• Pushing and pulling of arms and legs; use of abdominal and lower back muscles
• Coordinating movements of the eyes, hands, fingers and feet
• Ascending and descending of stairs, ladders, lifts, etc.
• Speaking, hearing and seeing to avoid safety hazards
• Strenuous manual labor
