Position: UI/UX Specialist

Location: Denver, CO

Department: Marketing / IT

Reports to: Marketing Director & Chief Technology Officer

Salary: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Specialist to join our dynamic team at Veriholdings, a leading Wellness & Alternative Medicine tech company. This pivotal role focuses primarily on web design and optimization, ensuring our online presence is as intuitive and engaging as it is aesthetically pleasing. In addition to crafting seamless user experiences, the specialist will also drive marketing initiatives through conversion rate optimization, A/B testing, and reporting automation; enhancing our digital strategies to better serve and grow our community. Key Responsibilities:

Web Development:

Website Fixes/Additions

  • Fixing website issues:
    • Troubleshooting and resolving bugs and errors.
    • Improving website performance and user experience.
  • Adding new features:
    • Developing new pages and sections as needed.
    • Implementing design and functionality updates.

Web Page Building

  • Creating web pages:
    • Designing and coding pages using HTML, CSS, PHP, SCSS and JavaScript.
    • Ensuring responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Implementing backend logic:
    • Writing server-side code to support web functionality.
    • Integrating with databases and third-party services.

Backend Web Page Development

  • Building and updating backend systems:
    • Writing code in languages like PHP, Python, JS, SQL, and more.
    • Ensuring data security
    • Monitoring and Maintenance

House Ads:

System & Maintenance

  • Setup house ad system to serve House created ads on all site blogs & conditions pages
    • Ad slots
    • Ad slot, creative, & campaign UTM’s
      On-site implementation (g-tag sizing and serving logic, responsiveness logic)
  • Creating HTML 5, and static ads
    • Design (Canva, Adobe, codepen.io, Rachael, etc.)
    • Code (HTML, CSS, JS, PHP, SVG, SVGanimateX, etc.)
    • Implementation (Google Ad Manager)
    • Tracking and Optimization (GAM, GTM, GA4, Segmetrics, etc.)

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):

  • Designing custom A/B tests:
    • Identifying key metrics and conversion goals.
    • Creating test hypotheses based on data analysis and user behavior.
    • Developing test variants using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and other technologies.
  • Implementing client-side tests:
    • Fully developing entire client-side testing logic (doing this to save the company money by bypassing the need of purchasing an A/B testing platform like VWO or Optimizely (since Google Optimize sunset)
    • Monitoring test performance and ensuring accurate tracking.
  • Analyzing test results:
    • Using statistical methods to determine test significance.
    • Reporting findings and recommendations to management & the team
    • Iterating on successful tests to further optimize conversion rates.

Reporting and Data Management:

  • Internal Reporting
    • Creating ad-hoc reports:
    • Generating reports for specific requests from stakeholders.
    • Customizing reports to meet unique needs.
  • Automating reporting processes:
    • Developing automated reporting solutions using scripts.
    • Setting up recurring reports for departments like sales and marketing.
  • Supporting reporting needs:
    • Assisting colleagues with data interpretation and analysis.
    • Providing training on reporting tools and best practices.
  • Cleaning data:
    • Writing Python and JavaScript scripts to clean large datasets.
    • Removing duplicates, correcting errors, and normalizing data.
  • Analyzing data:
    • Performing statistical analysis to uncover insights.
    • Visualizing data using tools like PowerBI, GA4, Google Data Studio, etc.
  • Setting up data APIs:
    • Configuring API endpoints for data extraction and integration.
    • Ensuring secure and efficient data transfer
  • Developing API logic:
    • Writing scripts to process and manipulate API data.
    • Integrating APIs with analytics platforms (GA4, Segmetrics).

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in UI/UX role(s) where marketing meets web development
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Front End Programming: HTML, CSS, PHP, SCSS, Javascipt
    • Preferred: Backend Programming: PHP, PYTHON, SQL
    • A/B Testing
    • Conversion Rate Optimization
    • Data Analytics
    • Reporting Automation
