DESCRIPTION

Granular insurance is looking for an Insurance Technology Analyst to be part of a growing Data Operations team. This hands-on role will work with fellow team members towards innovative and critical development of our data infrastructure and management strategies. Cross-functionally, this role will provide support and expertise on a variety of projects and tasks requiring data integration, transformation, analysis, visualization and reporting. This role has strong SQL experience, including data analytics and database management experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as data integration subject matter expert, advising and consulting on data projects and maintain process documentation, policies and procedures.
  • Lead data integration efforts for client implementations, interacting with clients as well as internal and external partners, and work effectively between technical and non-technical teams.
  • Manage interaction with key data vendors and programs, ensuring adherence to standards, policies and procedures.
  • Oversee daily file transfers between clients, Granular and external partners, identifying and quickly resolving production issues.
  • Develop and maintain sound testing principles for data integrations between clients, Granular and external partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • 5 years of experience with data integrations, ideally in an insurtech environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to simplify complex health insurance claim and health data concepts for varying levels of audiences.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, experience with clinical data exchanges and knowledge of X-12 EDI data sets (specifically 837i, 837p and 834).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in client-facing implementation roles.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Experience managing a team or processes independently with little oversight.
  • Experience in analytical thinking with strong problem-solving skills and strong communication skills.
  • Experience managing large cross-functional projects or implementations.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $68,000-106,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
