Job Description
We are seeking a detail oriented and analytical GHG Inventory Specialist to join our corporate sustainability team. Under the direction and guidance of the Corporate Sustainability Manager, the GHG Inventory Specialist will be responsible for collecting, validating, analyzing, and reporting greenhouse gas emissions, and other environmental data, as part of our annual emissions inventory.
This role will play a key part in our efforts to measure, manage, and reduce our carbon footprint and drive progress towards our sustainability goals.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated background and interest in GHG’s and sustainability, and a desire for continuous learning.
This role also requires strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills to build support across business units and departments and support the company’s ambitious sustainability goals.
This role will be based in Jersey City, NJ at our Headquarters. Verisk has a flexible in office and at home work schedule.
Key Responsibilities :
Analyze emissions trends over time and identify opportunities for emission reductions and efficiency improvements.
