Description

The Center at Lincoln is looking for someone to join their team as the Business Office Manager! This is a full time position. Billing experience in a skilled nursing facility or relevant position is preferred, but not required! 
Pay is dependent on experience.

POSITION SUMMARY: Oversees and manages the day to day activities of the business office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages and processes accounts receivable/payable, billing and resident account function
  • Verification of secondary insurance and claim status
  • Prepares admission and financial packets
  • Works with patients and/or family members to complete financial packets and obtains photographs of patient
  • Assists in the collection process by making phone calls and preparing and mailing collection letters
  • Scans and uploads all business office documents
  • Fills in for the front desk during lunches and absences, including for all shifts, both weekday and weekends as needed
  • May perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications


EDUCATION:

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTES:

  • Excellent customer services and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • High level of patience and tact
  • Must be acutely detailed oriented and organized
  • Be able to work independently with limited direction
