Therapy Staff

The Center at Val Vista is a skilled nursing facility that serves patients needing physical rehabilitation and/or complex nursing care. Our highly qualified, caring staff provides care in a beautiful, hotel like atmosphere to help our patients achieve strength and functionality. Currently, The Center at Val Vista is looking for PRN PTA’s, PT’s, OT’s,ST's, RNA, & Rehab Tech’s to join our Team. This is a very high volume, fast paced position and requires a person who can work well under pressure and is comfortable with multi-tasking.

Job Description: The primary purpose of the Therapy Staff is to provide excellent patient therapy care in compliance with State/Federal Regulations and Company policy.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Work in collaboration with the patient, physician, family members, care team and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care and treatment for the patient
Assist patient with Therapy needs
Responsible for timely and accurate charting
Do whatever is takes to make our patients happy with their stay

Experience and Specific Requirements:
Must have as a minimum, 1 year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility
Possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions and accept constructive criticism
Possesses leadership ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel-fosters a true team environment
Demonstrates judgement and has the ability to maintain highly confidential information
Knowledgeable of HIPAA compliance and requirements
Able to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret the programs, goals and objectives of the department as it relates to the Center at Val Vista

Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check/drug screen
