Location Description:
We are a private learning and development center in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. Created exclusively for Verizon employees and managed by Benchmark/ Pyramid Global Hospitality. Overview:

If you like winning the day and delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests tables rapidly, accurately and with a warm smile, we are looking for you! You will be the point of contact between front of the house and back of the house staff. Hours are usually 3:30-11pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the guests tables rapidly and accurately.
  • Act as the contact point between Front of the House and the Back of the House staff.
  • Communicate food orders to the chefs when necessary, paying attention to priorities and special requests (e.g. food allergies)
  • Assist wait staff with table setting by gathering and placing appropriate tableware, utensils, glassware and napkins.
  • Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g. proper temperature)
  • Check in with customers and take additional orders or refill water, as needed
  • Answer guests questions about ingredients and menu items
  • Inform restaurant staff about customers feedback or requests (e.g. when they ask for a check)
Qualifications:
  • Ability to listen to directions
  • Able to stand on your feet for at least 8 hours
  • Ability to remain calm under stressful situations
  • Knowledge of food safety.
  • Experience in a full-service restaurant desired
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexible schedule
Compensation Range:
The compensation for this position is $19.00/Hr. - $19.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
