What you’ll be doing...

Responsible for building innovative solutions by performing comprehensive data analysis using cutting-edge data science and machine learning techniques. Build automated visual Business Intelligence (BI) solutions which provide insights by looking at trends over time or anomalies by geography or by channel. Perform thorough data analysis, uncover opportunities, and address business problems, interpret business requests and translate into reporting and BI capabilities. Prepare concise, comprehensive and level-appropriate reports and presentations in a visualization tool such as Qlik, Tableau or ThoughtSpot. Strategize, oversee, document, resource plan and define scope on multiple projects with evolving timelines in various stages of completion. Document and demonstrate solutions by developing wireframes, production documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, and models. Review existing visualizations to assess existing opportunities for improvement within the business and to drive a best-in-class User Interface solution. Summarize, group, and visualize data sets and information for management and executive review utilizing digital tools. Leverage data visualization toolsets to provide single source data availability to multiple user communities. Participate on cross-functional project teams to identify critical requirements, gaps or data elements necessary to develop scalable and intelligent BI solutions. Continue to identify opportunities to enhance data analysis, reporting efficiency and methodology. Analyze and build data science solutions that drive product effectiveness, personalization, and operational efficiencies across projects in Finance. Responsible for data analytics, inference and end to end process development; enable R or Python or SQL based integration; import, process and transform various different data sources into customizable insights and prepare ready to ingest into presentation or analytical tools; leverage automation techniques to improve efficiency and enable touch free solutions; employ software development life cycle (SDLC) and extract, transform and load (ETL) concepts in day-to-day operations. Manage various existing datasets, dashboards and ETL process under FPAS BI team's scope. Responsible for Python, Microsoft Office Suite or G Suite products, advanced SQL, modeling, and data analytics and visualization tools, including Tableau and ThoughtSpot.

What we’re looking for...

Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, Intelligence Analyst, or in a related/similar position performing data analytics, inference and end to end process development; enable R or Python or SQL based integration; import, process and transform various different data sources into customizable insights; and employ SDLC and ETL concepts in day-to-day operations. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience, employer will accept a Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the above fields and 1 year of experience in the above. Experience therein to include 1 year using Python; Microsoft Office Suite or G Suite products; and 6 months in advanced SQL, modeling, Tableau and ThoughtSpot. Hybrid role, ability to work from home.
