What you'll be doing...This role provides technical systems analysis and business analysis in support of a program to establish and maintain the inventory of contracted services and workflow processing. The program manages customization to contract requirements for carrier-grade network and telecommunications products and services through Agile development processes, testing, inventory tracking, billing account connections, and reporting.
As part of the SLED PMO team will enable quote to billing for new contract orders. Primary roles will be with planning and configuring custom CLINS for all the State's contracted services across Verizon's internal tools (PQ, USEC Catalog, vPrice, CLIN manager, etc.), helping to correct E2E fallout.
The role will support the program by engaging with internal partners to define services based on existing product structures and create documentation inputs for the development process. Following the development processes the role will partner with testing to validate results against business requirements, establish documentation, and planning for release of tested service elements into production. Other stakeholders include the Sales-Account Management, Pre-Sales-Ops, Contract Management, Solutions Architects, Service Management, Global Technology Solutions teams, Legal and Pricing Operations, Product, Marketing, and Project Management.
Responsibilities include:
  • Design client requirements and user stories
  • Requirement analysis, test case planning, design, validation, execution, defect management and reporting.
  • Post implementation release verification, fall out processing, change requests
  • Review results and recommend improvement to operational process and procedures.
  • Prepare work summary readouts, mitigation plans, and health status reports.
  • Prepare workflow and process documentation, management guide information and operations support plans
  • Engage with CLM, Capture and Bus Development teams and participate in contract strategy, planning and CLIN mapping efforts
  • Receive and review product mapping plans, sample quotes, reference invoices, etc.
  • Upon contract amendments, initiate projects for enablement, secure and manage success-based project budgets, manage E2E testing through production approval and releases
  • Establish and maintain engagement across teams to confirm enablement plans are consistent with project goals and ensure test outcomes are aligned and deliver intended value
  • Ensure projects are completed within established schedules and budgets
  • Monitor and keep sync with the evolution of contracted product and features and provide inputs for future contract enhancements
  • Act as a support resource for contract configuration and platform enablement to internal sales and support teams
  • Effectively operate in a highly matrixed, globally distributed organization & manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment.

You'll need to have...
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of experience
  • Four or more years of IT systems analysis or related work experience
  • Four or more years of driving and coordinating small to medium sized technical projects with moderate complexity.
  • Experience explaining or discussing complex or technical concepts to both business and technical stakeholders
  • Experience with software to manage requirements design and development
  • Experience with software to manage software test cases
  • General understanding of IT development environments and languages
  • Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources
  • Knowledge of software development and project management methodologies
  • Experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, with a focus on advanced spreadsheets or basic DBMS

  • Prior relevant Verizon job experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A degree in relation to Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math
  • Experience in SQL queries and scripting and/or other complex data analysis tools
  • Experience with Agile development and testing processes
  • ITIL Foundation Certificate and ITIL conversant a plus
Where you'll be workingIn this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $78,000.00 and $144,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
