Versa Pak is Hiring an Office Manager Near Celina, OH

The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily office operations including but not limited to accounting, quoting, order entry and shipping.
General Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily office operations within each respective department: Account Receivable / Payable, Quoting/Order Entry, Purchasing, Shipping and Receiving
  • Monitor Customer Service Representatives (CSR) and Order Entry (OE) activities
  • Interact with customers in a friendly manner and work to understand their needs
  • Spearhead office process enhancements and conduct training sessions
  • Uphold accountability standards
  • Participate in interviews and recommend needed office staffing
  • Setup and oversee new hire training processes
  • Mentoring office personnel and hold 1-on-1’s and do evaluations for office personnel
  • Organize and document meetings / communication / follow through
  • Ensure the department and operations are appropriately staffed and organizationally aligned to meet food safety objectives.
Job Tasks:
  • Keep employees on task
  • Hold employees accountable to live the values established
  • Take care of customer’s / Talk positive about customers
  • Monitor all quote sample follow-ups are being done
  • Help office personnel get to their best selves in their respective position
  • Overlook production schedule and weekender daily
  • Understand lead times and work with the Plant Manager to distribute orders appropriately
  • Communicate customer happenings with the Appropriate Sales Employee
  • Review over customer monthly sales report
  • Meet with the Management team every month
  • Track yearly goal KPI’s
  • Plan monthly social events
  • Marketing tasks
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Proven experience in an administrative or office management role is strongly desired
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in office software (eg, Microsoft Office Suite), with familiarity in CRM and ERP systems being advantageous.
  • Able to provide consistent friendly service to customers
  • Good time management skills
  • Demonstrate Versa-Pak values and serve as an example to others
  • Capacity to lead and foster growth of team members
