Job Summary
We are seeking a Baker to join the team at Versailles Cafe and Pastries! In this role, you will prepare a variety french pastries, desserts, and decorate cakes. You will be responsible for opening the bakery in the morning and prepping for the day ahead. The ideal candidate has previous bakery experience and a passion for delighting customers with taste and beauty. • Open the bakery and prepare for the day ahead
• Clean and sanitize equipment and baking areas
• Bake a variety of breads, cakes, and pastries
• Decorate cakes
• Prepare custom orders
• Track, maintain, and order inventory as necessary

• Previous experience as a baker, pastry chef, or in a similar role is required 
• Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment
• Knowledge of food safety practices
• Previous experience decorating cakes
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Team player
• Available for early morning shifts
