This is an Individual Contributer role and has the potential to grow to handle a team
This is a hybrid role and New Jersey candidates are preferred as they should be able to commute to Piscataway office at least 2-3 days a week
Scope of Role:
We are looking for a determined Business Development Manager who can confidently articulate our value proposition to C-level executives in both Technology and Business at Tier 1 banks across US.
Create strategic growth and revenue for Global Transaction banking (Business Banking Digital Channel Capabilities, Business Payments, Virtual Account Management, Cash Flow Forecasting for SME’s, Working Capital Management for mid and large sized Corporates, Payables and Receivables Finance) software and service offerings through new client acquisitions

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the EVP-Sales Head-US
The candidate will be the key driver and contributor of revenue acquisition in US responsible for Transaction Banking
Responsible for selling software products and solutions e.g. business banking channel solutions, payments, cash management, virtual account management, working capital management, payables and receivables finance etc. to top banks across US
Develop, present and execute a Go-to-Market plan and for achieving growth
Build strategic relationships with perspective clients to identify new initiatives and generate the pipeline for new business
Lead client engagements and key negotiations from lead generation through to contract signature
Accountable for and lead all new RFPs/proposal submissions and directing the right team for increasing the probability of a win
Identify and develop partnerships with third party software and service providers as maybe required
Provide insight to the business on market trends affecting clients
Work closely with other business teams (e.g. pre sales, product , professional services, Marketing, and other professionals)
Work with Marketing to establish campaigns to create ‘pull’ in the market with a focus on ROI & optimization from new business
Deliver on agreed annual revenue/order book/license fee targets as per the company business plan
Reporting of actual v/s budgeted sales on a regular basis
Will be required to travel within the US
Must Haves:
Strong hunter profile with 10-15 years of Business Development or Sales experience
Must have prior experience in sourcing leads, selling technology solutions, developing new logos with a high number of prospects and in large geographic territory
A true hunter with a broad network within the banking Industry; specifically Tier 1 banks
Proven record of exceeding pipeline and revenue targets, including achieving annual multi-million dollar sales goals
Experience interfacing with the customers and vendors at various levels especially at the CTO/CIO/ VP/Director level
Excellent oral and written communication skills and influencing skills
Knowledge of Business or Retail Banking, business software delivery and SDLC, are assets
Prior experience working in a global delivery model is preferred
