Responsibilities

• Distribute billing information memos and bill drafts to attorneys for review.
• Perform edits to bills including adjusting rates for alternative fee arrangements, narrative edits, time reductions/write offs/write downs, and bill address changes; post to billing system.
• Submit invoices through various electronic billing platforms; monitor electronic invoices for rejection notices and resolve rejections.
• Review and apply unapplied cash receipts and/or Trust funds for clients and monitor Accounts Receivable balances.
• Conduct accounts receivable—receive and enter check information to accounting software and alternate with coworkers to scan checks to bank.

Qualifications

• Previous law firm or service industry experience working within a billing department or legal assistant preferred
• Must be proficient in data entry and knowledgeable with basic computer applications
• Experience with billing platforms
• Detail oriented and organized
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
