The Director, QMS Project Manager, is responsible for delivering cross functional program / project management across the quality organization in support of the continuous improvement of the Vertex QMS. This role is expected to provide expertise in driving the execution of the global QMS strategy across multiple cross functional teams. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of project management experience, Experience within the Pharmaceutical industry, PMP Certification and Six Sigma Black Belt Certification. They will be responsible for managing multiple projects across multiple functional areas. Must have experience in GxP, regulated space.

Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Provide strategic and operational project leadership to multiple cross-functional teams including planning and oversight of execution
• Facilitate workshops to develop strategic roadmaps for Vertex Quality Systems
• Drive communication cross-functionally and with senior leaders on integrated program planning topics including timelines, status, risks and issues
• Proactively identify roadblocks and/or constraints impacting execution and lead the team through scenario planning activities
• With support, partner with governance forums, senior leaders and/or team lead(s) to align strategy, goals and milestones
• Oversee completion of team deliverables and contribute to content development, when appropriate
• With support, determine approach and stakeholders for cross-functional decision-making and issue resolution

Minimum qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of project and portfolio management principles, strategic planning, business case generation, and resource management
• Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills and a proven track record Influencing/building/promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including well-developed presentation skills
• Strong collaboration skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels in the organization
• General global experience in life sciences and Quality Operations is preferred

Preferred Qualifications :

• 10 years of project management experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience within the Life Sciences industry
• PMP Certification
• Six Sigma Black Belt Certification

$100-$105/hr
