Data Architect

Contract, 6 mos plus

Hybrid, Princeton, NJ

Our client has an immediate need for a Data Architect.

We will count on you to:

Designing and maintaining the data models, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models

Selecting appropriate databases and data storage technologies, designing the overall structure of the data pipeline, and ensuring that the data architecture is scalable and efficient

Designing and implementing data integration solutions to integrate data from various sources

Designing and implementing data migration solutions to ensure that data can be migrated from one system to another efficiently and effectively

Design and create data architecture, metadata, and repositories.

Develop and deliver long-term strategic goals for data architecture vision.

Evaluate hardware and software platforms

Strategize what the best practices are in relation to data security, backup, disaster recovery and business continuity

Responsible for following deliverables:

Data Architecture Design

Data Management & Integration Design

Data Documentation

What you need to have:

7 – 10 years of experience as a data architect

Experience working on enterprise data lake projects, business intelligence tools & cloud deployments

College degree or equivalent experience

What makes you stand out?

Preferred skills are:

Experience with MongoDB or another NoSQL database, PostgreSQL, or any relational database

Experience with Data Lake, Databricks, SQL, ETL and MDM

Experience with data integration services such as Azure Data Factory

Experience with business intelligence tools. PowerBI or Qlik is preferred

Experience with Azure
