Key Responsibilities :

Process Payroll : Review and process payroll for a designated group of employees, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution of wages.
Verify Timesheets : Check timesheets, hours worked, and other payroll data for accuracy and adherence to company policies.
Process Wage Deductions : Ensure all wage deductions, such as taxes, benefits, and garnishments, are correctly calculated and processed.
Update Payroll Records : Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in compensation.
Employee Inquiries : Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries and discrepancies promptly and professionally.
Collaboration : Work closely with the HR and Finance teams to ensure alignment between payroll data and employee records.
Stay Current with Regulations : Stay up-to-date on payroll-related regulations and assist in implementing necessary updates or changes.

Qualifications :

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience, preferably in a fast-paced, growing company.

Payroll Systems Knowledge : Solid understanding of payroll systems and processes. Experience with payroll software like ADP, Paychex, iSolve, or similar is preferred.

Tax Regulations : Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.

Attention to Detail : Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with large sets of data.

Organization Skills : Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Proficiency in Excel : Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software.

Communication Skills : Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to clearly communicate complex payroll information.

Confidentiality : Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive payroll and employee data with discretion and integrity.

Educational Background : High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field is a plus.
