Luxury Smart Home IT Specialist, Full Time, Generous Benefits OPPORTUNITY Our award-winning client is looking for an IT Specialist, to support the demand of their growth for their Luxury Smart Home business. This person will engage with internal and external teams of industry experts to design and implement high-end, custom residential smart homes for high-profile clients via a multi-month/year highly coordinated projects. As a small company, this passionate team of colleagues is known for artfully designing advanced, streamlined technology around the architecture of a family’s unique home, giving them control to customize a special, one-of-a-kind experience for their family.

SUMMARY:

The Specialist will apply their technical knowledge to support colleagues in both help desk support, design input for client projects, and client onsite AV network setup and more In addition to onsite client network setup and configuration, the Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the technical implementation that intersects with 3rd party vendors who are part of the overall Smart Home installation, ie phone company, construction, and others that could inadvertently disrupt the Smart Home project timeline, if the Specialist didn’t monitor the process. Be available to be onsite at the customer’s residence to coordinate and inspect hardware deliveries and related equipment Install and configure Smart Home hardware related to surveillance, door entry, facial recognition, AV, etc. Being in the field allows for this Specialist to be expert in supporting their team when they’re in the field and need technical support

QUALIFICATIONS: Deep interest in smart home technology and a passion for learning new technologies

Self-driven and meticulous attention to detail.

Ability and eagerness to collaborate as a team to creatively design and problem-solve for each unique client.

Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal project and service managers.

2 years’ work experience, ideally with help desk support, Smart Home technology (Crestron and Axis camera with 2N experience, a plus), surveillance and security technology.

Able to lift 25 pounds

Valid U.S. driver’s license.

TRAVEL, LOCATION, AND PROVISIONS

Elmsford, New York. Time will be split between the office/showroom and onsite at client residential project locations in NYC and suburbs.
