JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you passionate about applying emerging technologies to solve customer problems? Our Innovation Lab is focused on emerging technologies ranging from 3D visualization to mixed reality to robotics to things we can t talk about right now. Our team accelerates the experiences that customers expect today and develops the capabilities that power tomorrow.

We are seeking a Lead iOS Engineer to solve unique and complex technical problems that face our internal and external customers. As a Lead iOS Engineer on our team, you'll lead a team responsible for prototyping new ideas, building innovative experiences at scale, and enhancing existing products. You will play a key role in leading, developing, and implementing innovative AI solutions that will revolutionize our customer experience. You'll collaborate with a brilliant team of researchers, designers, and engineers to tackle exciting challenges across various domains.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Experience with end-to-end development and publishing of multiple native apps.
  • Familiarity with API technologies, understanding of Server Driven UI approaches, and API-first design methodologies.
  • Strong skills in building products using Kotlin/Java and Swift/ObjC, Android Studio/Jetbrains IDE, and Xcode.
  • Hands-on experience building native UX with modern declarative systems: Jetpack Compose/Flow and SwiftUI/Combine. Preference for a platform but navigates both.
  • Practices Test Driven Development and has experience with testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Development/Integration tools like GitHub Actions and Spinnaker.
  • Deep understanding of MVVM and other design patterns (e.g., SOLID) and how to create testable and debuggable code.
  • Experience working with multi-module projects and shared libraries.
  • Previous experience building adaptable, ML-powered experiences is desirable.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proficient in basic Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills.
  • Deep understanding of technologies such as Swift and Objective-C. Bonus points for navigating the Android environment.
  • Demonstrated passion for exploring the unknown and taking on new challenges with enthusiasm.

  • A preference for remote work, as this is a hybrid role located in the Greater Seattle Area.
  • A background solely in large enterprise companies with a reluctance to embrace frequent risks and innovation.
  • A lack of excitement for GenAI and ML technologies.
  • A comfort zone that limits their willingness to explore new domains and solutions
