About the Role
The role is a front desk of the Occupational Health Center on campus. Healthcare experience is preferred Working in a clinic front office helpful.
Work primarily involves:
1. Answering telephones and emails
2. Setting up appointments (initial and follow ups)
3. Answering questions
4. Assisting patients with filling out SU17 form on a tablet.
5. Routing calls
6. Getting voicemail messages
7. Handling, routing, and scanning correspondence
Requirements:
1. Telephone answering (setting up initial and follow up appointments, answer questions, and route queries to others in the clinic)
2. Proficient with using Outlook for email and calendar management, document scanning, and other cloud based applications, including the clinic's electronic medical records
3. Opening and routing of mail/electronic/scanned correspondence.
4. Assist providers, medical assistants, nurse, and clinic manager with scheduling, administrative tasks, such as ordering and maintaining of par levels of supplies and equipment, facilitate contract approvals and payment of invoices, tracking staff's participating in education programs and assist in setting up classes, workshops and wellness sessions.
