We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Milan, Italy!

The Project Manager is responsible for projects execution in accordance with the main contractual obligations such as: guarantee the technical requirements required by the contract, delivery terms and quality as well as the profitability of the project itself; act as the main interface to the customer in the name and on behalf of the company; management and monitoring of costs to safeguard the contract margin; maintain customer satisfaction.

What kind of work will you be doing?

Project Execution:

• Manage installation projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and essential documentation production.
• Proactively identify and address potential issues to maintain project integrity.
• Improve project performance metrics, including delivery margins and efficiency.

Cost Control:

• Oversee project-related purchases to meet budgetary constraints.

Shipping and Delivery Coordination:

• Coordinate activities between clients, subcontractors, and suppliers for timely project delivery.
• Manage shipping, delivery, and on-site installation to optimize customer satisfaction.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports, ensuring accuracy and quality.

Customer Relationship and Billing:

• Cultivate strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide continual client support and accurate revenue forecasting.
• Generate project status reports and monitor variations for timely feedback.

Compliance and Quality:

• Ensure works adhere to Vertiv and local regulatory standards.
• Maintain compliance with International Trade Compliance Regulations.

What will make you successful?

• Degree in Engineering;
• Experience in the management and control of value-added contracts (M&E - Material & Engineering);
• Experience in the negotiation and management of sub-contractors;
• Commercial skills in addition to the ability to understand specifications, contracts and regulations;
• Excellent written and verbal communications;
• Excellent organisational and time management skills;
• AutoCAD drawing production/editing knowledge - preferred;
• Working knowledge of all MS Office applications, MS Project and Oracle;
• English fluency;
• Highly adept at multitasking, prioritizing tasks, maintaining attention to detail under pressure, and ensuring customer satisfaction across diverse projects and customer sites.
