Vertiv is Hiring a Sr. Product Manager (IT Systems) Near Lincoln, NE

Job Summary

Vertiv is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sr. Product Manager to lead our suite of products focused on TAA compliance, eRate eligibility, OEM products, and ETO/CTO customization across the IT Systems portfolio of products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex product portfolios, driving product strategy, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deliver exceptional products that meet market demands.

Responsibilities:

  1. Product Strategy and Roadmap:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for TAA compliant products, eRate products, OEM offerings, and ETO/CTO products.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for innovation.
    • Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business goals, customer feedback, and market demands.
  2. Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure all products comply with relevant regulations, including TAA compliance and eRate program requirements.
    • Stay updated on regulatory changes and adjust product strategies accordingly.
  3. Product Development and Lifecycle Management:
    • Lead cross-functional teams in the development and launch of new products and enhancements.
    • Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
    • Collaborate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to ensure product feasibility and alignment with customer needs.
  4. Customer Focus:
    • Serve as the voice of the customer, gathering and analyzing feedback to inform product decisions.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
    • Provide product training and support to sales and marketing teams.
  5. Financial Management:
    • Define product pricing strategies and ensure alignment with business objectives.
    • Monitor product performance, profitability, and ROI, and take corrective actions as needed.
  6. Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
    • Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the team to explore new ideas and technologies.
    • Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance product quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in product management, with a focus on TAA compliance, eRate, OEM, and ETO/CTO products.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex product portfolios.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with product lifecycle management tools and methodologies.
