Vessel is seeking experienced part time bartenders with the possibility of auditioning to appear on a national weekly reality show showcasing Vessel and the amazing people who work in the service industry in New Orleans. We are looking candidates with outgoing personalities who have active social media presence. Any potential candidates would go through an interview process with the producers of the show. . Being cast in the potential show would not be guaranteed and up to the discretion of the producers.

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.

Greet customers and take drink orders
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
- Assess customers' needs and preferences to make recommendations
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Maintain cleanliness in the bar area and adhere to food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions using a POS system
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
- Monitor customer intake to prevent overconsumption and ensure safety

Skills:

- Strong math skills for handling payments and making change
- Excellent customer service abilities to provide a positive experience
- Knowledge of Aloha POS or similar systems preferred
- Understanding of food safety practices in a restaurant setting
- Experience in the food service industry with knowledge of bar operations
- Sales skills to promote specials and increase revenue
- Bartending expertise including mixing drinks and cocktail recipes
