West End (Bread Street)
Role: Small Animal VetLocation: West End Vets, Edinburgh, ScotlandSalary: Competitive salary depending on experience and certificationHours and contract: Part-time, permanent position (Approx. 30 hours, 1:3 Saturday mornings) CVS Group plc is an AIM listed, international integrated veterinary services provider, which delivers to clients through four business areas; our veterinary practices, diagnostic laboratories, pet crematoria, and e-commerce division. Our success is derived from the passion our people have for animals and for making pets a priority, it's what is at the heart of our work, every day. About us: We are super friendly, supportive and caring. We have two sites in the city providing excellent care to our loyal and long-standing client base. The practice is an accredited cat friendly clinic and has achieved a silver award in this field, with separate dog and cat wards provided. Our main branch has recently undergone a fantastic refurbishment where we offer a full range of services and dental x-ray.
In our team, we have multiple certificate holders in both medicine and exotics with another vet currently undertaking a surgery certificate.
We are based in Edinburgh, our Capital and a truly amazing place! Full of history, culture, entertainment and offering fantastic transport links, situated in Scotland's central belt.
About You: We are looking for a Vet who will be comfortable working sole charge, however the support will be provided if needed. Specific interests supported and encouraged. No OOH's, Saturdays on a rota basis.
We understand that relocation can be daunting, which is why we offer relocation packages of up to £5k to help make the transition as smooth as possible. Additionally, we are pleased to offer visa sponsorship for eligible candidates who wish to join our team and must be eligible to register with RCVS.At practice, we value continuing education and are happy to cover the costs of certificates to help you develop your skills and knowledge.
