Big Creek Pet Hospital is looking for a full-time or part-time pet care attendant to care for our boarding guests as well as ensure proper organization and cleanliness of our boarding facility. Knowledge of routine animal care, such as feeding, walking, and bathing, as well as the readiness to care for scared or injured animals, are some of the skills we are looking for with this opportunity. If you are organized, quick on your feet, and have a love for caring for animals, then a pet care attendant position at Big Creek Pet Hospital may be the position for you! Other responsibilities of a pet care attendant include:

• Provide loving care to our guests while staying with us
• Feed as instructed by mom/dad
• Clean runs
• Laundry
• Prepare paperwork for incoming guests
• Assist in cleaning around the clinic
• Needs to be able to communicate professionally with the parents of our guests
• Help other departments when needed
• Safely and professionally restrain/hold patients
• Assist with toenail trims and baths
• Know and use standard medical/business abbreviations
• Follow OSHA standards
• Perform all tasks in an efficient and timely manner
• Help promote a positive hospital culture
