Job Description

Job Description

Veteran Development and Construction is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. You will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. An excellent Construction Project Manager must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.

The Ideal Candidate must meet the following requirements:

· Collaborate with clients, engineers, architects, and other people associated with the projects

· Negotiate contracts with external vendors and work with the project manager assistant to reach profitable agreements and prepare subcontract agreements, material purchase orders and change orders

· Monitor and administer project changes to and for Subs and clients

· Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities

· Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations

· Prepare budget and cost estimates, along with project schedules

· Comply with safety and building codes as well as legal requirements

· Collaborate and plan with project superintendent on schedule, weekly reports, and subcontractors as well as all construction operations to ensure deadlines will be met

· Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports

· In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles

· Good knowledge of MS Office 365 suite and Procore project management software or similar software 

· Outstanding communication and negotiation skills

· Excellent organizational and time-management skills

· Establish and maintain working relationships and communication with the Project Team

· A team player with leadership abilities

· This is a full-time position, working 7:30 am – 4:30pm.

· Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year based on experience

· Benefits: 401(k) matching, Health insurance, Dental insurance, Paid vacation and sick days

· Work Location: Mentor, with projects in various locations
