Veterans Evaluation Services is Hiring a General Dentist Near Muscatine, IA

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our team. As a Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern dental office equipped with the latest technology and a supportive team.

Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions and diseases
- Conduct routine dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Administer local anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Collaborate with dental specialists for complex cases
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic dental software (Dentrix)
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry through continuing education

Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license
- Proficient in medical terminology and dental procedures
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM systems for digital dentistry is a plus
- Familiarity with medical coding and insurance billing processes
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, particularly oral anatomy
- Ability to take and interpret vital signs accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced dental office environment
