Veterans Sourcing Group is Hiring a Manager, Marketing Activation Services Near New York, NY

Manager of Marketing Activation Services
Pay Rate: $55.00 Per Hour
Duration: 5 Month Contract
Location: New York, NY 10177; Hybrid with 1 to 2 days in the office.
Position SummaryThis contractor role serves as a backfill while one of our Marketing Activation Services Managers is on maternity leave.
In this role you will serve as a key liaison between PRUSA's brand teams, channel marketing teams, BTL agencies, and production agency to bring marketing programs to life at the point of purchase, both in the on-premise and off-premise, on time and within budget.
Major Responsibilities / AccountabilitiesLeading weekly meetings with brand, channel, BTL, and production teams to move the process from concept to final mechanicals on every item
Evaluating concepts for displays and custom items for feasibility with the production agency
Providing expertise on material choices including ensuring that materials are compliant with our sustainability guidelines
Evaluating preproduction samples and ushering artwork, proofs, and samples through approvals with brand and channel teams
Ensuring all necessary information is provided in the required format for our national POS buying periods
Communicating constantly with all parties to notify of any required changes to artwork, items, pricing and materials
Following up regularly on production of the items.
Throughout all tasks, you are responsible for managing all parties and steps to meet our strict timelines to ensure on-time delivery of the materials in-market.
In addition, you will be responsible for budget tracking on your programs, which includes cutting POs and acknowledging receipt of goods.
CapabilitiesRequired Skills:
Experience with the production process from start to finish for all varieties of point of sale material—print, premiums, displays, racks, barware.
Must be results-oriented, organized, demonstrating the ability to lead, influence and motivate others.
Ability to manage projects independently from start to finish and meet deadlines
Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and continuously evolving environment
Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills.
General understanding of US Spirits market and channel dynamics
Skills/ProficienciesProficient knowledge and use of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
General computer proficiency to learn Pernod systems including our POS purchasing system and Finance system
Excellent stakeholder and project management abilities
Experience & EducationCollege degree
At least 3 years experience in POS production or procurement, promotions management, or trade marketing
Project management skills, budget management
Preferred: Experience in FMCG, BevAlc or lifestyle categories
