Veterinary Technician Assistant Duties & Responsibilities:
As a Veterinary Tech Assistant, you will be integral to providing high-quality animal care and support within our veterinary team.
As a Vet Tech Assistant, your core responsibilities will include animal handling, administering treatments, and assisting with procedures. Veterinary Technician Assistants take care of animals by providing food and water, administering treatments, recording their health information, cleaning equipment, handling animals, giving medication, and weighing animals. Assisting Vet Techs and Vet Doctors during daily tasks.
Qualifications
- Proficient in animal handling and care, including dog handling and restraint
- Experience pet care
- Familiarity with kennel operations and animal husbandry
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
