Description

Jackson Square Animal Clinic is a small, single doctor practice just outside of historic Jackson Square, seeking to add a strong, full-time CSR to our stellar team!

Our ideal team member would possess:

  • Prior veterinary experience

  • Ability to multi-task and stay on task
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Ability to perform independently, as well as with a team
  • Ability to show initiative and be a self-starter
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive team player
  • Strong computer and typing skills
  • Ability to triage with the client and prioritize urgency
  • Ability to read and comprehend medical notes
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Has knowledge of cat and dog vaccines and vaccination schedules

We offer competitive pay, paid time off, pet care discount, 401k, medical, dental, vision insurance, and paid holidays.

Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8am-5:30pm- closed for lunch from 12pm-1pm, and alternating Saturdays from 8am-12pm. Saturday hours we are open would be required.

Full-time hours vary between 36 and 40 hours per week.

Requirements

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Scheduling appointments
  • Greeting clients and patients by name
  • Answering and accurately directing incoming calls
  • Process transactions
  • Directing medication refill requests to DVM and staff
  • Client education
  • Processing orders through our online pharmacy
  • Maintaining cleanliness of front lobby and workspace
  • Performing reminder calls for patients who are behind or coming due for services
  • Monitor our texting platform for incoming client requests
  • Actively advocate for patient care
  • Experience with Cornerstone a plus, but not required
  • Obtain medical records from previous veterinarians
