JOB DESCRIPTION Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required. RESPONSIBILITIES
The receptionist provides a wide variety of administrative and staff support services to an office site.
Welcome visitors by greeting them in person; answering or referring inquiries.
Politely greets and answers or refers telephone inquiries.
Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.
Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook.
Maintains safe and clean reception area, and office site by complying with processes and procedures.
Updates calendars and schedules meetings.
Keeps up to date records of office site reception expenses and costs.
Supports the distribution, receipt and sorting of daily mail.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Performs other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing.
Completes routine tasks and deals with situations and activities that are straightforward in nature.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
High school diploma or GED required.
Excellent written, verbal, listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Professionalism and customer focused - customer service attitude.
Organization and time management, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail.
Be able to work independently and with minimal supervision; ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
Telephone skills and hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. printers and fax machines).
