Job ResponsibilitiesTeam Management: Supervise and lead a team of fabrication staff, including welders, machinists, fabricators, and other related professionals.
Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and conduct performance evaluations to ensure the team meets production targets.
Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet project deadlines and delivery requirements. Coordinate with other departments, such as engineering and procurement, to plan and streamline fabrication processes.
Quality Assurance: Enforce quality control measures to maintain high standards of production. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and regulatory standards.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for process enhancement and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Optimize workflow and suggest technological advancements that can enhance production output.
Safety and Compliance: Enforce and oversee safety protocols and regulatory compliance within the fabrication facility. Conduct regular safety training sessions and ensure adherence to industry standards and guidelines.
Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet production demands.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain records of production data, including output, quality control metrics, and other relevant information. Generate reports for senior management on production status, performance, and areas for improvement.
