Field Supervisor / Project Manager - HAZMAT & Emergency Response
Clean Harbors in North Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Field Supervisor/Project Manager to plan, lead, organize and coordinate the daily operations of the service line crew. This hybrid role includes both office and field duties, such as: conducting job walks, providing estimates, meeting with customers, responsibility over proper operation of equipment, driving operational efficiencies at the work site and ensuring accurate documentation related to the job is completed in a timely fashion.

ResponsibilitiesEnsure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
Conduct walk-throughs and scope potential projects for clients including cost estimation, technical proposal preparation and client support
Provide technical support for proposal preparation, project cost estimates and subcontractor selection and procurement
Set-up projects; coordinate resources and scheduling; ensure proper costing/utilization of labor and equipment
Act as an agent of business and is involved with developing relationships with key customers and understanding the customer issues
Manage large-scale field service and emergency response projects, when directed
Direct personnel in the operational procedures to complete assignments and understands the labor and equipment requirements to complete field service projects and emergency responses
Oversees and is responsible for projects for health & safety, profitability, completeness and professionalism
Review operational procedures to assure correct health & safety action plans and communicate effectively with the health & safety organization regarding on-site specific action
Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules
Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirements
Safely observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures
Read work order and ensures all required equipment is available and operational prior to starting jobs
Correct deficiencies that may cause accidents, injuries, lost productivity or harm to equipment or that are inconsistent with client's requirements
Communicate required preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment when required
Train Technicians in equipment operation and service line processes
Meet progress deadlines and efficiently utilizes resources
Instruct, provide feedback and direct and assist crew in performance of job duties to complete work in accordance with client requirements and Company policies, practices and procedures
Performs other duties as assigned
By position, ability to be on call for emergency response on rotating basis as needed
By position, site-remediation, equipment decontamination, and the handling of hazardous materials
