Activities May Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Troubleshoot Manufacturing equipment when breakdown and failure occurs.
- Install, Maintain, repair and adjust mechanical & electrical systems for production equipment.
- Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of the machinery.
- Mold changes and machine setups
- Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, fittings, and related equipment.
- Set up programs and repair automated machinery and equipment i.e robots, autobaggers, packagers, winders and etc
- Maintain water, cooling, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment / systems.
- Escalate information at shift change, reporting all problems to Team Leader and/or Maintenance Supervisor in a timely manner.
- Document all safety checks (crane, forklift), LOTO and Hot Work Permit
- Train other mechanics on proper repair techniques, equipment systems operation and safety.
- Complete all other duties or tasks that may be assigned or required of the position.
