Responsibilities
- Utilize Polaris Problem solving (PDCA, 5Y, Fishbone Diagrams) and Lean PPS (Polaris Production System) techniques to Continuously drive improvements to Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost
- Drive Part Qualification Activities completing Key Elements of AIAG PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
- Ensure Part Quality Standards are achieved through Polaris Development Process (PDP) and maintained using statistical techniques
- Provide guidance to the production team as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Work on Cross Functional Teams to meet site Goals and Initiatives
- Train others on proper equipment and measuring techniques
- Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
