MAIN FUNCTION: This individual will report to the NA Flavors Warehouse Network Manager, this is a key position within the NA Flavors Supply Chain team. The position's primary focus will be the definition and maintenance of inventory policies of materials across the warehouse network to ensure an optimized inventory flow and an effective replenishment strategy for local warehouses to ensure efficient operations. This role will partner with Operations and Supply Chain leadership to establish clear KPIs to ensure performance and govern processes. This position will monitor and facilitate action on excess, expired, and slow-moving inventory. Partnering with the finance and cycle counting teams, this role will also provide visibility to the material disposal process to ensure proper execution and reconciliation. This role will be responsible for process development and governance supporting the warehouse network and the material movements there within. This position will be integrated into the S&OP cycle providing warehousing/network capacity and supporting inventory management best practices. Keeping safety as the number one priority, this position will ensure the quality and integrity of all products in moving through the network. KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Pragmatic Thinking Information Seeking Conceptual Thinking Analytical skills Communicate/Facilitator Affinity to work with ERP / Microsoft Office tools Additional asset: SAP / Oracle or similar experience DESCRIPTION OF WORK PERFORMED: Guide, maintain, and enhance the processes of inventory management across the network Identify and implement key metrics to ensure optimal stock management across the network and ensure efficient material movements Collaborate cross functionally with all departments in the end-to-end supply chain Assess and provide ongoing visibility to space and material movement capacity across warehousing network Maintain strong working knowledge of all transportation modes and necessary compliance Support efforts to adapt business practices and processes to align with our customer's evolving needs Determine replenishment strategy for local & network warehouses Help support S&OP processes to properly drive operational excellence Collect necessary data & tools to monitor warehouse utilization to better understand warehouse capacity (both for current state & future state) Maintain a robust understanding of the out in- and outbound of material and warehouse utilization Actively gather, foster & share warehousing best practices within the team Proficient understanding of all information systems and process connected to warehouse inventory management Have a clear understanding and working knowledge of ADM information technology systems Understands and has strict adherence to corporate compliance policies in context of stock management Effectively use communication channels for proper coordination within the office & other locations Portrays a positive image of the company and self when interacting with internal customers, colleagues, and all external contacts Is willing to work outside normal business hours including weekends Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or Logistics preferred. 3 years' experience in Warehousing, Logistics & Transportation Highly organized Proven interpersonal skills Practical experience with WMS required Ability to work in a team environment Computer skills (Microsoft office suite - excel, word, BI, etc) Individual must be committed to corporate ethics policies & safety programs Self-motivated/commitment to continuous improvement ADM is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability and veteran status.
