- This is a different type of request.
- This Controls Technician will be onsite at a customer that is a heat treat facility (industrial furnaces/ovens) that will be monitoring various systems and addressing breakdowns with controls systems.
- This person will be onsite, responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting Level 1 issues. All PLCS are Rockwell/Allen Bradley.
- This person will not be re-writing any code onsite or programming new systems.
- They will reach out to our Fives DyAG internal software team for higher level support.
- Program changes will run through one of our Engineers based in Michigan or Ohio. So a full-blown Controls Engineer would likely be bored in this role since a lot of it is monitoring systems and then coordinating with an offsite team.
- They should have strong written and verbal communication as they are working with various off-site personnel and teams.
- Finding someone local is highly preferred but can consider expenses if we need to.
- This area is very close to Milwaukee airport. Support is needed through the end of the year but is subject to be extended if the customer requests. Will typically be first shift 40 hours/week but the person will have some on-call time as this is a 24/7 facility and may have maintenance calls off hours.
