Job Title: Entry level I Lab Tech

Location: Camp Hill, PA, 17011

Pay Rate : $20/hr

Duration: 5 Month of Contract

Shift: 2^nd shift

Position Summary: 

Position Summary: Perform laboratory analysis on raw and finished products to ensure compliance with customer and company specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

· Conduct analytical testing on all outgoing orders in accordance with documented laboratory procedures.

· Document results, prepare Certificates of Analysis, and ensure the accuracy of Bills of Lading for release to customers.

· Retain samples of tested products to confirm results and rotate samples as necessary.

· Prepare chemical reagents for analytical tests and monitor the inventory of chemicals and lab supplies.

· Operate, monitor, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, calibrating them when applicable.

· Follow all safety and environmental rules and regulations applicable to the position.

· Adhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

· Write clearly and communicate effectively with other departments, management, and employees, notifying appropriate teams of non-conformance and other concerns.

· Attend and complete weekly/monthly safety and quality trainings.

· Perform additional duties as assigned by the QFS Manager.

Job Requirements:

· Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required.

· Quality control or laboratory experience preferred, but not necessary.

· Proficiency in MS Office and basic PC skills.

· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to sit/stand/walk for long periods while performing job duties.

· Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.

Additional Information:

· Hiring for the 2nd shift: Monday-Sunday (2pm-10pm), with a 3-person rotation and 2 days off each week.

· Must be willing to work overtime when required.
