We take Research and Development to the next level by providing complete all-in-one fast prototyping and non-destructive testing solutions in our state-of-the-art concept-to-completion facility. The Innovation Center is located in Orlando in the heart of the Central Florida Research Park right next to the University of Central Florida.
The Position:We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Full Charge Accountant to handle all aspects of accounting and financial management for our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. This role is crucial to our financial operations. This position is responsible for recording the company's incoming and outgoing financial transactions. Typical tasks may include creating financial reports, processing payroll and managing customer or client invoices. The successful candidate will also prepare and analyze financial statements to create reports.

Job Duties:
- Manage all aspects of the general ledger.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Handle payroll processing and related tax filings.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
- Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Creating journal entries for all accounts, including fixed assets
- Issuing invoices to and collecting payments from customers
- Remitting payroll, income, sales and use taxes
- Processing employees' timesheets and managing payroll
- Supervising accounting staff
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full Charge Accountant or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Thorough understanding of tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
