Ensures Viant internal and external customer expectations are met or exceeded. Essential duties and responsibilities Adheres to Viant Core Beliefs and all safety and quality requirements.Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a major project or total project of moderate scope.Reviews test procedures and plans prior to implementation, conducts failure analysis and inspection on products, processes and materials.Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications.Devises new approaches to problems encountered.Investigates, develops and implements new process technologies of moderate scope.Prepares all necessary paperwork and documentation for all projects undertaken.Performs other functions as required. Environmental working conditions Minimal lifting (20 lbs.), carrying (10 lbs.), bending, pushing/pulling, crawling, climbing, balancing, and prolonged standing.Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items.This position normally works in a well-lighted, air-conditioned, indoor office setting with adequate ventilation. Qualifications High school education or equivalent Bachelor’s Degree PreferredCNC Machining background/programming preferred.Validation and statistics (IQ, OQ, PQ) Installation Qualification, Operation Qualification, Process Qualification.Medical Device/FDA experience is a plus.SolidworksISO 13485 standard (or Equiv.)Good Manufacturing PracticesOSHA / SafetyLean Six Sigma or Six Sigma MethodologiesGreen Belt or Black Belt trainingPFMEAMinitabDesign of Experience (DOE)Oracle Configuration (or Equiv.)Process Equipment ValidationRoot Cause AnalysisWorks with our customers on protypes.
