Investor Relations & Business Development Intern
Vibrant Capital Partners is seeking an intern within the Investor Relations & Business Development Department with a possible conversion into a full-time hire after 3 months depending on job performance and hiring needs. The candidate will support investor relations and business development activities as well as performance analytics and reporting efforts across the firm, with the goal of providing best-in-class client services.
Main responsibilities include:
· Conduct monthly and quarterly investor reporting; update consultant databases regularly
· Update marketing materials and thought leadership pieces
· Prepare responses to client inquiries, DDQs, and RFPs in a timely fashion
· Conduct market and prospect research; maintain Salesforce / CRM databases
· Maintain performance analytics and tools in collaboration with accounting, technology, and operations
· Opportunities to participate in client meetings and prepare meeting notes / follow-ups
· Work in collaboration with various departments including investment teams, investment operations, accounting, compliance, and technology on the above responsibilities
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, etc.
· Strong quantitative and analytical skills
· Strong writing and communication skills
· Diligent, detail-oriented, self-motivated individual with a client-first mindset, a strong sense of integrity, and the ability to take ownership over time and to develop creative solutions
· Team player but can also work independently
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint; VBA or other programing languages is a plus
· Familiarity with Salesforce or equivalent CRM tools preferred
· Basic understanding of finance and fixed income concepts; familiarity with CLOs, securitized products / leveraged finance / credit derivatives is a plus
· CFA, CIPM, CAIA, or other relevant designations is a plus
